Plain dupion fabric is a polyester base plain weave fabric. Dupioni is a plain weave crisp type of fabric, produced by using fine thread in the warp and uneven thread in the weft. This creates tightly-woven yardage with a highly-lustrous surface.
Plain dupion fabric is suitable for making dresses, skirts, tops, kurti, kurta, suits, lehenga, kaftan, blouses, ethnic wear, evening gown, curtain, upholstery etc.
