Dupion silk (or Dupioni) is a crisp, lustrous pure silk fabric known for its distinctive, irregular slubs and textured surface, created by weaving fine warp threads with uneven weft threads from two or more entangled cocoons. It's a heavier, structured silk with a natural sheen.
Plain silk dupion dyed fabric is suitable for making dresses, blouses, kurta, kurtis, evening wear, sarees, bridal wear, drapes and more.
